Al-Falah University News: Doctor’s Arrest and Complete University Overview

Al-Falah University News: A major terrorist plot has been uncovered in the country. A total of 2,923 kg of explosives were recovered from two separate houses in Faridabad, Haryana. In a joint operation, the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Faridabad Police arrested Muzammil, a doctor at Al Falah University in Faridabad.

Al-Falah University was established in 2014. It was recognized by the UGC in 2015. Al-Falah University is run by the Al-Falah Charitable Trust. The Al-Falah University campus spans approximately 70 acres. The university includes the Al-Falah School of Engineering and Technology, the Brown Hill College of Engineering and Technology, and the Al-Falah School of Education and Training. It also houses the Al-Falah Hospital, which is part of the Al-Falah School of Medical Sciences and Research Center. This hospital, part of Al-Falah University, is a 650-bed charitable hospital. Students from other countries also study at this university. The university houses a hostel, staff and doctor quarters, a library, and a lab.

What was recovered?

Muzammil had been working at Al-Falah University in Faridabad for the past two and a half years and lived in the doctor’s quarters within the university campus. Muzammil was a general physician. Dr. Muzammil was arrested nine days ago in a joint operation by Jammu and Kashmir and Faridabad police. Following Muzammil’s information, 360 kg of ammonium nitrate was recovered from a house in Dhauj village, just 500 meters from the Al-Falah University campus. Police recovered a walkie-talkie, 20 timers, 20 batteries, and a watch from Muzammil’s room in Dhauj village. In addition, some chemicals were also recovered.

Along with explosives, the Jammu and Kashmir Police and the Faridabad Police recovered a Swift car from Dr. Muzammil. An assault rifle, 83 rounds, two magazines, a pistol, some live cartridges, two empty shells, and a pistol magazine were recovered from the car.

Following Muzammil’s information, police recovered 2563 kilograms of suspected explosives, which initially appeared to be ammonium nitrate, from a room in a house in Fatehpur Taga village, Faridabad. The house belongs to Hafiz Ishtiaq, the cleric of the Dhauj village mosque. Police have also detained Hafiz Ishtiaq and are interrogating him.

The Swift car owner was also arrested

The Swift car recovered from Muzammil belongs to Dr. Shaheen Shahid of Bukhar Al Falah University. Shaheen Shahid has been arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police. Shaheen Shahid is a resident of Lucknow’s Lalbagh area. Police are interrogating Shaheen Shahid.
